SPASH scholars make home solar prepared.

SPASH students are building the programs 12th home. Whats makes this house special is its solar capacities. On Fri. , scholars installed 2 copper pipes running from the basement to the attic. Thatll make it simple for the future home owner to install solar cells to heat the water. "Were not using foreign oil, we aren't using electricity. We are using the power from the sun to heat our water, to run our place. We are saving the planet," announces Marv Hafenbreadf from the Energy Star Home Program. He adds that solar energy panels will pay for themselves inside a decade.

The house is predicted to be finished before the end of the college year.Its on sale to the public.
