Rescue Mission Raises Cash for New Home Demolition has begun for the Rescue Mission's new home for the homeless. The facility, found on Whitney Avenue, will hold up to 32 men. The Rescue Mission received a grant for the facility they are saying they need more funds.

To raise cash, the Mission held their second yearly "Walk a Mile in my Shoes", an one-mile walk around downtown Binghamton. Organizers wanted folks to stroll in the cold, so they could feel what many of the area's unhomed experience on a regular basis.
