Publish your work all year round.

College Hacks are being given the chance to publish their reports on the BBC. Below is a calendar of major stories events for scholars to report - that may be updated across the year - and some prompt questions to help them begin their research. A satellite tracking unit is getting used to plot the route on a live updating map. BBC newshounds will report on its progress from varied locations, that will hopefully include the US, East Asia, the Middle East and Europe. Scholars , why not follow "The Box" on its journey using the map and write your own report.
Where is it? What load does it contain and where is it heading? Who are the consumers? Who are the producers? What does this info tell you about worldwide trade? Teachers, the Faculty Report team would also like to grasp how you are using BBC reports about The Box in the school room. Which reports do you show the students? What activities do you organise? How does one conform the BBC Stories info for use in lessons? How do the scholars benefit? Which parts of the curriculum does it cover? Cut off point
: The Box is due to revisit the UK in summer 2009. Were any of your kin concerned in World War I? Ask members of your folks what they remember about this relative and their experiences. Search your folks album for a picture of your relative and sent it to the College Report team alongside your report. Cut off point : Send your report to the Faculty Report team by Fri. seven Nov 2008. What new laws do you want to introduce and which existing legislation do you want to abolish? Who would disagree with you? Write a dispatch containing both sides if the discussion.
Cut off point : Send your report to the Faculty Report team by Fri. twenty-eight Nov 2008. Instead of sending in your report, publish your report on your faculty internet site as a part of your Reports Day webpage. What's taking place in your school? What events are occurring where you live? Make some reports now so they are "in the bag" for Stories Day. Who would make a good guest on twenty-six March? Who do you require to contact to order an interview? What else could you do to guarantee a smooth operation on Reports Day? Cut off point : Thu. twenty-six March 2009. The best way to warn the College Report team to scholars' video and audio reports is to make public them on your college web site and send Ros the net address. If the BBC need a tough copy, an affiliate of the Faculty Report team will get in touch with you with details.

How can a private company provide a better service than a pbulicyl-run body when their main target is profit, not service? This type f farce is what you get when you offer contracts to the 'lowest bidder', rather than those that essentially have a workable plan.
