Criminal accusations and convictions should be public data -- with the exception of cases concerning kids, or victims of sexual attack. Think about how far worse things could get if this was all made secret. I travel about 1500 miles a week in NJ, almost all of it on the Parkway or the Turnpike, and the worst drivers out there are the state Police, with their tailgating, speeding, and absence of signals. I have already gotten 4 barrister letters inviting me to call for their assistance in picking up cash for a wounds I could have gotten ( some just thought I was hurt ). I got at least 10 letters a day from barristers for months.

I fought the ticket ( and won ) on my own, but I possess a nice list of counsels I wouldn't ever need to call for anything ever again. Why isn't this a contravention of my privacy, however? It definitely felt that way to me.
