24 December 2009

Online sales continue to take a bite out of the potential tax cash that Michigan may be getting from the sales of items that in past times would be acquired in a brick-and-mortar shop. Michigan guesses it has lost $181 million in what are called use taxes in 2009, according to the state Dept of Treasury. "There isn't much we will do," asserted Caleb Buhs, a treasury speaker.
