How tiny papers can make cash from Twitter.

Some paper execs are also trying to get a way to earn money from Twitter. This is a difficult area, because the folks that use Twitter have shown that they don't seem to be fans of spam, or anything remotely looking like spam, and will take speedy action ( unfollow, doubtless report the account ) if it is suspected.

Research who is following the paper's Twitter account. Invent a technique for how you would like to deliver links in a way that it's not understood as spam. I think you are under-estimating the complications of what you achieved Adam. It could be straightforward enough to save searches in Twitter, but you have got to think about the idea, and choose the right searches. Compare that investment with 99p for an app that "just works". I agree that little papers can gain advantage from Twitter. However,I do not think the genuine cash will be made in the Twitter stream.. It can push traffic to the main accomplishment piece : the net version of the paper. Also, let's remember that Twitter isn't about advertising. Digital dialogue facilitators is what they need to be.
