Google obviously wants the mobile-phone world to look different, its just unclear that this telephone or its current manufacturing system will basically cause the changes in the telecoms world that Google is hunting for. Now, getting on par with Apple ( and in many ways past it ) is no tiny accomplishment, particularly when Google made this telephone in association with HTC, a business structure that barely leads to the hardware the design team really wants.

But what it does not like is all of the techniques that users could get detoured, from the time they pull the telephone out of the pocket till the time their search travels to a Google server. Thats pushing Microsoft out of the market, and keeping carriers from doing foolish stuff like causing a users browser index page to direct to its software store in perpetuation, regardless of how hard they attempt to change it. And third-party-app developers can write programs for Android devices without getting authorization, a harsh contrast to Apple, which must approve each iPhone app and controls the only real way to add programs to the gadget. Google bet more than $4 billion in an FCC wireless auction in 2008 just to be certain that openness rules would stick to new range, which led the eventual winner " Verizon " to sue the Feds. In brief Google wants to change the telephone market with its complicated charges, long contracts, unusual costs and bundling of devices with service plans and make it more like how you purchase a TV or a P. C. : Buy the gizmo. The carriers will hate this, maybe create unfairly high costs and extraordinarily exasperating device registration charges " trying to guard the money they make offering phones at a preliminary discount in return for a two year contract.
