Are the Denver Nuggets Championship Contenders?

Chris Andersen soaks up love like a two-day old forehead sponge, has that inspiring story, and is white. But he showboats on the court, does his hair like a crazy Clown Posse dead-ender, and is up to his nose in ink. And then theres Carmelo Anthony, simply the most personable, and therefore marketable, of the Class of 2003 crew. Yet Melos always just a bit too hood, or understood as un-valiant, to get on the publics good side. Theres without doubt, from a business viewpoint, a Lakers-Cavs, Kobe-LeBron dream matchup in the Finals has the NBA clamoring. Its an informal fans dream - Hey, Ive heard about these guys, perhaps Unwell watch. And the Nuggets are maybe the team that may screw it up. - Carmelo Anthony is leading the league in scoring and is a top-five player in the league. - Denver has big men in Martin, Anderson and Nene who are just as talented as the Lakers provoking Odom / Bynum / Gasol frontcourt, and who can match up with them defensively. - Chauncey Billups is a real winner and a top 5 point guard in the league. - Ty Lawson gives Denver a legitimate backup point guard, fast enough to protect fast guards like Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo, who Billups struggles against. Hes a bloke with the power to score twenty points per game. The NBA is facing a real probability of a Denver Nuggets championship.
